TERMS OF USE & SUBMISSION AGREEMENT.
- I acknowledge and understand that I am responsible for all photos and any related content that I upload to Creative BC’s website for the purpose of its location database (My Content).
- I grant Creative BC a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, transferable license (with a right to sub-license) to use, reproduce, and distribute My Content in any media worldwide for the purpose of Creative BC’s locations database and general marketing and promotion of British Columbia’s locations for film and television production.
- I confirm that I own My Content, or If I am not the owner, I am fully authorized and have received all necessary permissions by the owner, and that I am not infringing any person's rights by submitting My Content to Creative BC.
- I continue to retain copyright and any other rights I hold in My Content and understand I can continue to share and commercialize My Content as I wish.
- I agree that I am solely responsible for, and that Creative BC has no responsibility to me or to any third party for, any breach of my obligations under the Terms of Use and for the consequences including any loss or damage which Creative BC may suffer of any such breach.
- I release and forever discharge Creative BC, its employees, representatives, successors, licensees and assigns from any claims, obligations or liability of every kind arising in any way out of the provision of My Content to Creative BC and Creative BC’s collection, use, reproduction, or disclosure of My Content.
- I agree to indemnify Creative BC against all claims, costs, charges, damages and expenses that may arise or be incurred by Creative BC related to any claims, complaints, or proceedings of every kind, including but not limited to intellectual property claims or proceedings, arising in any way out of the provision of My Content to Creative BC and Creative BC’s collection, use, reproduction, or disclosure of My Content.
- By submitting My Content, I agree with all the terms and conditions in this Agreement.
You will receive notification when your property has been received by Creative BC. Private residences will not be posted on our Public Gallery on our website.
They will only be available for viewing by motion picture professionals in our password protected location library. You will be contacted directly by a production if there is interest in using your property.
Filming activity in a neighborhood can create parking, noise, and traffic congestion that can cause substantial strain for other residents and businesses. Therefore, a production company is required to gain permission from the municipality (or applicable authority) prior to filming. Please be aware that issuance of a permit is not guaranteed.
